My Story

Hello neighbor, my name is Tyrel, and I am the owner of Austin Sheetrock Repair and Painting Specialist. Before starting my own business, I worked as a maintenance technician for a leasing company in Round Rock, TX, for 7 years. During that time, I gained extensive knowledge about the various issues that can arise in rental properties and the best ways to resolve them. For the last 5 years of my employment there, I focused primarily on drywall repairs and make-ready painting, both interior and exterior. I have mastered every application method, from brush and roll to spraying. My drywall experience encompasses installation, taping, floating, texturing, priming, painting, and various repairs. While working full-time, I also took on side jobs in the community for 3 years prior to starting my business. Since launching my own business, my mission has been to deliver high-quality drywall repairs and small-scale drywall installs, along with exceptional paint jobs to the residents of the greater Austin area. Utilizing a state-of-the-art dustless sanding system, quality tools and materials, along with my prior experience, I have been able to achieve that mission since June 2022.
